Event Details

Get your little artist learning and creating. Each Little Studio will introduce a famous artist and their work through books, songs, and an art activity aimed at building fine motor skills. Suggested ages: 3-6 years. 

For May's Little Studio we will be learning about artist Mary Cassatt and practicing observational drawing to create our own Impressionist art.

Suggested Materials:

  • Blank sheet of paper
  • Pen or pencil
  • Plastic bag, for example a plastic grocery bag or sandwich bag or zip lock bag
  • Washable colored markers
  • Spray bottle or small cup of water
