So much more than Nacho Libre! What started off small in the 1930s in Mexico, Lucha Libre (or freestyle wrestling) has gained in popularity! Luchadores, as they are widely known, are Mexican wrestlers who don a mask and persona to battle it out in the arena. These wrestlers typically depicting classic good versus evil themes in their shows, but always have their identities hidden behind a Luchador mask.
Learn about the masks worn by these Luchadores and make your own!
This is an outdoor event, and will be held outdoors at Highland Hills Branch Library. Masks are recommended, as well as social distancing.
