Program Description

Event Details

Insects make up more than half of all living things on earth with species more numerous than we know. Yet how often do we notice them?  Some are hidden and some are hiding in plain sight--blending in with flora and the soil, concealing their colors, or mimicking one another. And some are just very, very small.  Hone your observational skills and learn about insect identification, habits, mimicry, and benefits with this fun pictorial walk through Metroplex wildflower gardens with Master Naturalist and insect enthusiast Laura Kimberly.  Perhaps you’ll gain even a new appreciation for the fly!

"Master Naturalists Present..." is a monthly series featuring presentations from local nature experts of the nonprofit North Texas Master Naturalists.

This program is available online only, through Zoom. Registration is required. Zoom information will be emailed the day of the program. Emails may go to your spam folder.
