Learn more about our lovely ruby-throated hummingbirds:  their biology, migration, courting, nesting, child-rearing, and how to make sure they make your yard one of their favorites. Join Janet Smith to expand your knowledge and appreciation of these iconic birds. 

"Master Naturalists Present..." is a month series featuring presentations from local nature experts of the nonprofit North Texas Master Naturalists. This months presenter is Janet Smith, a recovering plantaholic who considers the Master Gardener, Master Naturalist and native plant training as her 12-step program. She specializes in creating attractive landscapes that conserve natural resources and money; are good for the local ecology; and attract bees, butterflies, and birds. She loves helping others discover the thrill of having their own nature channel out their windows.
