Topics discussed will include the best location for the nest boxes and how/why the boxes need to be monitored. Let Kimberlie give you a peek inside the life cycle of the Eastern Bluebird and other native cavity nesting birds.

"Master Naturalists Present..." is a monthly series featuring presentations from local nature experts of the nonprofit North Texas Master Naturalists. This months presenter is Kimberlie Sasan, a Herbarium & Research Assistant at the Botanical Research Institute of TX in Ft. Worth. She is very active on iNaturalist.org and has recently discovered a new species of oak gall wasp, Druon laceyi. In the fall, her focus lies on gall-forming insects and in the spring she assists with monitoring 50 Bluebird nest boxes in Keller.
