Program Description

Event Details

"Master Naturalists Present..." is a monthly series featuring presentations from local nature experts of the nonprofit North Texas Master Naturalists. This month's presenters are Kristi Kerr Leonard and Rebecca Posten, members of the Ideal+Bonton Nature Community project team. Kristi has been leading conservation work on the trail for years and is involved in all aspects of project work. Rebecca has been involved in community outreach and providing nature education programs for community members of all ages.

The presentation will share a case study of how a group of Texas Master Naturalists has worked in a historically under-resourced community in the Ideal+Bonton neighborhood. The work evolved from conservation in the Trinity Forest's Ned and Genie Fritz Buckeye Trail to enrich community relationships.

This program is available online only, through Zoom. Registration is required. Zoom information will be emailed on the day of the program. Emails may go to your spam folder.
