Event Details

Reading can take you places! Kick off your summer reading with stamps in your reading passport as you travel to all the fun activities, crafts, and games in our library for all ages. And don't forget to register for the Mayor's Summer Reading Challenge to win cool prizes and free books all summer long!

Our party includes special guests from Mad Science, presenting:

  • Watts Up: Discover how and why static electricity is such a shock!
  • Dry Ice: Bubbling potions, dry ice in a glove, spooky effects and best of all – a Dry Ice Bubble Shower.
