Ever wondered what goes into making the news? In an era of misinformation and declining trust in the media, understanding how journalism works has never been more important. The Dallas Morning News team and the Dallas Public Library team, will guide you through a hands-on workshop inside the newsroom, where you'll step inside the role of reporter, collaborate on writing a newspaper and learn about media literacy.
This is an opportunity to gain insight into how news is researched, written and published. We'll explore the ethical and editorial decisions journalists make, the challenges of misinformation, and how to critically evaluate the news you consume.
