Dallas Public Library strengthens communities by connecting people, inspiring curiosity, advancing lives, and working for racial equity. We are looking to fulfill the mission through this open call opportunity, facilitating a platform for artists to share their perspective of varying Dallas neighborhoods for a virtual neighborhood series titled, Dallas 101.
We are expressly encouraging visual art makers of all backgrounds and to submit their work in the form of an image that can be used for coloring. Modest honorarium will be provided. The project will run from February 1, 2021-December 31, 2021. Work needs to be submitted no later than December 31, 2021.
