Plastic + Yarn = PLARN! 

Are you a crafty person? Is your pantry overloaded with plastic grocery bags? Then it sounds like you could use a crash course in plarning!

Plarning is a method of crocheting using upcycled plastic bags instead of yarn. This craft can be used to make sturdy items such as bags, mats, and shoes. Basically anything that can be crocheted with yarn can be made with plarn! The items that you make through plarning can even be put to greater use: plarned items that are donated to the Library will be given to people here in Dallas who are experiencing homelessness. 

All supplies will be provided. Thank you to the Friends of the Dallas Public Library for making this event possible.
