Event Details

During the #TeenWritersProject's workshop we will explore the literary arts and spoken word. Participants will be given writing prompts , they will be guided by professional writers through the craft of writing, learning tips and strategies on how to become better storytellers, then given the freedom to write their interpretations of the artwork as it relates to their communities, culture, and society. THese stories, poems, letters, narratives, or five-minute scripts will uncover their literary finesse, exploration of ideas, investigation of community, culture, and society, self-reflection, and storytelling prowess.
