NATURE EXPO 2022 SCHEDULE:
11:00am-2:00pm Booths: Learn all about nature-focused organizations from around the North Texas area by visiting each station in the Expo, where our partners will have everything from live animals to interactive activities.
11:00am-12:00pm Master Naturalists Present...For the Love of Moths: Presenter Sam Kiechnick will talk all about moths. Although not as famed as their day-flying cousins, moths are crucial for the ecosystem, have some magnificent patterns, and are tremendously diverse. In the DFW area, we have documented over 800 species of moths! Learn about how you can manage your habitat to encourage moth diversity and find out some ways that you can document and identify the various species that you might see in the area.
1:00pm-1:30pm What The Heck is This? Panel: This special panel of natural science experts can help you identify and learn about that mysterious nature treasure you've collected or inherited. One item per person, please. No animals, dead or alive, and please leave birds nests for the birds.
Registration for this event is not required. However, if you would like to receive updates and reminders about the event to your email, please register below!
