Read to Nellie

Have fun practicing reading skills with Nellie, a registered therapy dog with Pet Partners. Nellie will be ready to listen to any story in a one-on-one session. Readers can sign up for a 10-minute time slot, first come first serve, and choose a book to practice their reading.

Reading to therapy dogs can help improve kids' confidence in their reading abilities. Since dogs are not judgmental, kids can read to them without feeling the pressure and anxiety that may come from reading to peers.
