Many plants adapted to North Texas can be propagated easily by seed!
Learn the basic challenges and rewards of seed saving including seed selection, backyard breeding, harvesting strategies, germination and dormancy requirements, as well as planting times and techniques for successful reproduction of some of our favorite Texas vegetables and wildflowers!
And the BEST part of this class- prepare to get your hands dirty, because we’ll have a ball learning how to harvest, dry and store the most a-peel-ing seeds for our area!
