While most history classes cover the original settlement of the United States Northeast coast, not many cover the settlement of the Gulf Coast of the South. In this presentation, Genealogy Specialist Mic Barnette will provide a historical timeline for the settlement of the gulf coast in the United States. Understanding settlement trends and migration patterns will help you better understand the lives of your ancestors who originally settled along the Gulf Coast.
