Shark Day!

We may not live near an ocean, but oceans still impact our daily lives here in Dallas. Scientists do very important work with ocean conservation both for the animals and the environment. We have invited Michelle Eyrich, from Sharks4Kids, to teach us about one practice of shark conservation, shark tagging. She will give a short talk about the practice and then we can get hands-on trying it out ourselves. She will then be on hand to answer questions about all things sharks and shark conservation. We will also have stations to experiment with shark buoyancy and make salt dough shark teeth! It'll be a jaw-esome time!
