SMART Summer: STEAM - Rainbow in a Tube

The kids will learn about density. Density “describes how tightly matter is packed within a given volume” (Britannica Editors 2025). In this experiment, the more sugar in the water, the more dense the water becomes. Kids will learn that more dense liquids will sink to the bottom while the less dense liquids will sit on top of each other.
