Please join Empowering Through The Arts as Catherine Whiteman, an accomplished actress, singer, storyteller and historian takes you on a journey with her dramatic one-woman show that has thrilled and inspired audiences of all ages.

Based on "The Narrative of Sojourner Truth," Whiteman’s presentation uses dialogue and song to illustrate how Sojourner Truth’s early experiences determined what she would ultimately become: a famous speaker and well-known public figure championing the women's suffrage movement.

There will be a brief discussion prior to the performance and a talk back afterwards.
