Event Details

This is an introductory presentation for participants in learning more about the major social networking applications of our time, in this case, focusing on the popular photography editing application Instagram. It's open to all skill & knowledge levels.

Here are a few areas that the program will focus on. 

  • The basics of how to sign up for Instagram, and how to start building your profile. 
  • The difference between posts, stories, reels, and albums.
  • How to build collections of photos from both your other profiles.
  • Posting comments, replying to them, and sending private messages. 
  • General Q&A for the participants that have more specific questions. 

This event will be held online through a Zoom meeting. Participants do not need to have an Instagram account in order to participate. This program is made possible through funding from the Friends of the Dallas Public Library.
