Event Details

Get ready to soar! In this hands-on STEM program, participants will learn how wind works and why it makes kites fly. Kids and families will explore basic science concepts like air movement, force, and lift through simple, easy-to-understand demonstrations.

After learning about wind, participants will design and build their own kites, then decorate them with creative flair. If weather and space allow, we’ll head outside to test our kites and see science in action!

This fun, educational program encourages creativity, problem-solving, and curiosity about the natural world. All materials will be provided.
