🪷Relax with us🪷
Yoga means union. We bring together our mind, body, and breath through a series of movements and postures called asanas. In this 30-minute session, we will address all muscle groups, learn breathing exercises to facilitate relaxation, and also learn the power of affirmations and meditation.
We recommend this opportunity to children ages 6 and up and for caregivers to fully participate alongside children. For all attendees, we recommend wearing clothing that you are comfortable moving around in and doing various stretches.
We will not be providing yoga mats or other aids so please bring these items if you would like to use them. Also please bring a water bottle for yourself and your child we do have a water fountain where you can refill if needed.
The program is presented by Gargi Sukhatankar, a Registered Occupational Therapist and Registered Yoga Teacher. Gargi has worked with and continues to work with children and in education since 2001.
