S.T.E.M. Program Mini Moai Statue Sculptures

Travel to Easter Island without leaving the library! In this hands-on STEM program, kids will explore the mystery of the famous Moai statues and learn how science, engineering, and art come together to create monumental sculptures. Participants will design and build their own mini Moai sculptures, experimenting with shapes, balance, and structure while using kid-safe materials. Along the way, we’ll talk about problem-solving, basic engineering concepts, and the cultural history behind the Moai.
