Program Description

Event Details

Reading to therapy dogs can help improve kids' confidence in their reading abilities. Since dogs are not judgmental, kids can read to them without feeling the pressure and anxiety that may come from reading to peers.

Roux is a registered therapy dog with Pet Partners that will be at the Audelia Road Branch ready to listen to any story of your choosing! This will be one-on-one, and first come, first served. Upon arrival, kids will be able to sign up for a 10-minute time slot to read to Roux, their new furry friend.

There are limited slots available. Sign-up at the Information Desk 10 minutes before the program.

Again, this is a first-come, first-served program.
