Alfajores & Lomo Saltado

Have you ever wanted to visit Peru but never had the time? Embark on a culinary tour with Taste of Peru in partnership with the Consulate General of Peru and some of the best Peruvian restaurants right here in DFW! These talented chefs will demonstrate how to cook up some of the most iconic dishes from the land of abundance including ceviche, lomo saltado, and alfajores. 

Our first stop will be at Tineo Peruvian Cafe to learn all about their popular alfajores, a traditional cookie with a dulce de leche filling, and then they will be cooking up lomo saltado live! Tineo brings the flavors of Peru to the Dallas/Fort Worth area with a full menu of authentic Peruvian food and baked goods.

Nuestra primera parada será en Tineo Peruvian Cafe para aprender todo sobre sus populares alfajores, una  galleta con relleno de dulce de leche, ¡y luego estarán cocinando lomo saltado en vivo! Tineo trae los sabores de Perú al área de Dallas / Fort Worth con un menú completo de auténtica comida peruana y productos horneados.
