Touch-A-Truck

Experience the variety of services your city offers up-close by taking a look at their trucks! A variety of City of Dallas departments will gather at the library to meet residents, offer information and provide photo ops with different service vehicles.

At this this event:

• Meet your Neighborhood Police Officer from the Dallas Police Department and take a look inside a real police car.
• Check out Dallas Animal Service's adoption truck and local outreach vehicle.
  • Rescue animals will be available for adoption!
• Take an up-close look at a Sanitation truck, and learn more about what happens to our waste when we throw it away.
