If you love talking about murder, listening to true crime podcasts, and daydream about becoming a crime scene investigator, then this book club is for you!  

This May we will be reading Gone at midnight: the mysterious death of Elisa Lam by Jake Anderson, an author at the Dallas Public Library true crime mini-convention in 2022. This book takes a look at the brutal murder and uncovering of Elisa Lam at the Cecil Hotel, the former hunting grounds for Richard Ramirez and a place that is notorious for having a chilling haunted past.
