Program Description

Event Details

Turtle Day at the Library is a fun and interactive event where we come together to celebrate our reptilian friend, the turtle. Join us to learn more about the local varieties of turtles in Dallas and meet a few rescued box turtles. We will cover turtle anatomy, diet, life cycle, and differences in local species.

Presented by Gwen Eishen, a local naturalist, wildlife rescuer, and conservation educator. Gwen is a dedicated educator with the DFW Texas Wildlife Association.

Social distancing will be required and the use of face masks is strongly encouraged. Registration is required.
