Event Details

This Women's History month, take control of the wheel by learning how to maintain your vehicle.

Do you get stressed when it's time to go to the mechanic? Are you concerned that the repairs on your car cost way too much? If so, join Chaya Milchtein of Mechanic Shop Femme for this Why's and When's of Car Maintenance presentation.

Chaya is a renowned automotive expert who specializes in educating women and LGBT+ people in the basics of car maintenance. This class will cover the foundational maintenance items, what they do in their specific systems, and why they should be changed in addition to things like the owner's manual and what preventive maintenance even means.

Chaya's work has been featured internationally, including in Oprah Magazine, The Chicago Tribune, Forbes, and Readers Digest, and she was one of The Advocates 2020 Woman of the Year and a Subaru Drive Magazine's 2020 Community Champion. View her website at this link to learn more!

This session will take place online. Zoom information will be sent out the day of the event.
