What’s in your backyard? Do you know what birds are chirping around you? North Texas is a stopping point for an abundance of migratory birds, and it is also a region with many native bird populations. Sebastian Casarez, a young avid Texas birder and an experienced professional bird educator, shares his love of avian creatures. Sebastian donates his time to travel around Texas virtually teaching adults and children what birds live in our backyards, how to identify birds, what native plants attract birds, and even tips on how to start a community bird walk. He plans to share a wealth of information on birding. Join us to find what birds are in your backyard.

Earth Day Every Day is a series of online environmental education sessions continuing with the Earth Day theme and bringing expert speakers, special program topics, and a reminder that every day is Earth Day. Presented by Dallas Environmental Quality and Sustainability (DEQS; Green Dallas).  These topics empower Dallas residents to make sustainable choices that improve the quality of life for everyone in Dallas and the world.

This program is available online only, through Zoom. Registration is required. Zoom information will be emailed the day of the program. Emails may go to your spam folder.
