For those curious about the philosophy of existentialism, who ponder the nature of their existence and wonder about what it all means, freedom of choice and "being" itself, take a closer look by participating in a new book club about that very subject.
Delve into the next work chosen for this series, Jean-Paul Sartre's 1948 existentialist play, Dirty Hands. Then participate in a virtual discussion of the work, led by Dr. Kenneth Williford, Associate Professor & Chair of the Department of Philosophy & Humanities at the University of Texas at Arlington.
Free copies of Dirty Hands are available to participants while supplies last. Just request a copy in the "Special Notes" section of the registration form.
This program was made possible thanks to the generous support of the Friends of the Dallas Public Library.
This program is available online only.
