The first Dallas Poet Laureate, Joaquín Zihuatanejo, will hold office hours for aspiring poets in the city of Dallas! These sessions are designed to help Dallas poets work on individual poems and to eventually create a poetry manuscript.

Calling all aspiring engineers! Bring the family and put your building skills to the test. Using special tools for constructing with cardboard, your family will work together to build a cool creation out of recycled materials.

We are going to make our own pinball machine! Say what?!? Yep, you will explore the science of force and motion while creating your own pinball game. Bring your creativity, warm up your fingers and be ready to flick your flippers.

We will have a plethora of patterns and colors of washi tape to make your own unique washi tape bookmark. We will also have three styles of bookmarks to choose from, ranging in complexity from super simple to slightly difficult.

Reading to therapy dogs can help improve kids' confidence in their reading abilities. Since dogs are not judgmental, kids can read to them without feeling the pressure and anxiety that may come from reading to peers.

Spring music classes for school-aged students 6-12 yrs on Wednesdays and Fridays. 

Mix custom bath salts in a charming glass jar with a cork top. Scented salts, dried botanicals, and gift tags will be provided. Perfect for a gift or to display.

Students will expand acting and life skills such as ensemble building, self-confidence, and problem solving while developing their talents in an atmosphere that encourages fun, commitment, and taking creative risks in a safe environment.

We will be making wooden hanging signs showcasing our zodiac signs. You can bring your own one-color design to print with our Cricut machine, or choose from the preselected horoscope sign designs we have available.
