Taking the time to cultivate and maintain relationships has become more important than ever. Senior Coffee Club meets every Thursday morning at 9 a.m.

English Language Learning 

We are a non-profit organization that provides free digital skills classes to the community. We operate four computer labs across Dallas where individuals can access our devices, work, and receive assistance with their digital needs.

1 on 1 dedicated help with a staff member from the Dallas Public Library. We can help you fill out applications, update your resume and find out about local resources that can help you take the next step in your career.

Learn the basics of computer formatting from typing, accessing the web, and learning general computer software and more. 

Our notary has appointments available! Please make an appointment within a day/time listed below.

Meet other bluegrass musicians, learn new songs, and play together in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Bluegrass musicians of all skill levels are invited to bring an instrument and join in. 

The first and third Thursday each month we do a craft specifically for our smallest library patrons!

The Video Game Club offers an engaging weekly drop-in program where children can socialize, enjoy playing video games, and take part in friendly competitions.

Presented by doctorate students of UT Southwestern, learn about a new STEM topic each month.

In this fun and hands-on STEM activity, kids will build a simple model of human lungs using everyday materials like straws, balloons, and tape.

On the 4th Thursday of every month, we will have a themed Lego Challenge where we will create Lego masterpieces based on that month's theme.

Unleash your imagination at the Lakewood Branch’s Lego Hour!  This will be a dedicated hour for building whatever you’d like using Legos.  Build and chat with others as you work together or get inspiration for your own projects.

December's book: A Friendship Yarn  By Lisa Moser

Representatives from Girl Scouts Inc. will lead school age children in a forensic science activity.

Each class features beginner level instructions in guitar by an experienced instructor. Instruments provided. Great for ages 8 - 18. For the best learning experience, students should try to attend as many sessions as possible.

Just in time for the holidays - craft a gift basket! Each week you will make something different. By the end of the series, you will have enough items for a lovely a gift basket.

Participate in the winter season by crafting a snow globe out of an everyday house-hold item-- Mason Jars!
