Create a community sculpture inspired by Harry Bertoia, the artist who designed the brilliant artwork hanging in the library concourse, commonly called the Bertoia Screen.
Beginning Piano and Keyboard
Learn how to read music, understand chord and melodic theory, and to play the piano or keyboard. Participants are encouraged to attend a weekly class, but can join at any time.
Celebrating Black History Month, this weeks craft we will be creating our very own community quilt!
Interested in learning to play the violin? Join Bill Smith online Saturdays at 3 pm CST. The program will teach students the basics of playing the violin and reading music.
Interested in learning to play the guitar? Dust that guitar in the corner off and let's play some songs. You'll learn basic chords and strumming patterns, as well as a bit of music theory in the process.
