Increase your student's reading skills this summer with Book Buddies!  Students entering 2nd through 5th grades will be paired with a trained volunteer for one-on-one reading sessions.

Reading to therapy dogs can help improve kids' confidence in their reading abilities. Since dogs are not judgmental, kids can read to them without feeling the pressure and anxiety that may come from reading to peers. 

Stop by the Vickery Park Branch Library every Wednesday to learn how to play Chess! This program is suitable for kids ages 7 and up and welcome to all!

This project teaches the science of chromatography and includes a fun art segment at the end. Chromatography is a process which involves separating the components of a mixture.
