Ahoy Matey! We are having a Pirate's Swashbuckling Spring Break at the Lakewood Library. 

The first Dallas Poet Laureate, Joaquín Zihuatanejo, will hold office hours for aspiring poets in the city of Dallas! These sessions are designed to help Dallas poets work on individual poems and to eventually create a poetry manuscript.

Join us for FREE weekly music classes with top-notch instructors at your local library! Instruments will be provided for use during class.

Tuesday we'll be learning all about plants, and you'll get to decorate your own pot that you'll take home with a plant of your own.

It's Spring Break and this week we are bringing out the Nintendo Switch for the kids!

If your gamer prefers their own switch/controller you are free to bring it!
But it is not necessary- we have enough controllers for everyone!

This program celebrates the unique language of Latin American classical music.
We explore the instruments, dances, and rhythms of the region, and show how composers portray their identity and traditions through the piano.

Kids and teens, visit the Pleasant Grove branch every day during Spring Break from 3:00-4:00pm for a fun and different dinosaur themed learning experience!
