Thrifting 101, is a presentation for newbies and veteran thrifters who need to polish their shopping skills. Carmina will share some tips on how to inspect pieces to make sure you’re taking quality garments into your closet.

In this class we will be presenting a more in depth understanding of music theory. This is a continuation of concepts presented in the Beginning Theory Class which meets on Tuesdays.

Learn how to read music, understand chord and melodic theory, and to play the piano or keyboard. Participants are encouraged to attend a weekly session, but can join at any time.  

Refuel afterschool with a free, nutritious meal provided by Equal Heart. Open to ages 0-18. Meals are made possible through the Texas Department of Agriculture’s Child and Adult Care Food Program.

Interested in learning to play the guitar? Dust that guitar in the corner off and let's play some songs. You'll learn basic chords and strumming patterns, as well as a bit of music theory in the process.
