Learn the basics of dying fabrics with various plants. There are many different colors you can achieve using plants from your garden. A local artist who creates jewelry using plants and other organic material will also be featured.

In this class we will be presenting a more in depth understanding of music theory. This is a continuation of concepts presented in the Beginning Theory Class which meets on Tuesdays.

Learn how to read music, understand chord and melodic theory, and to play the piano or keyboard. Participants are encouraged to attend a weekly session, but can join at any time.  

Refuel afterschool with a free, nutritious meal provided by Equal Heart. Open to ages 0-18. Meals are made possible through the Texas Department of Agriculture’s Child and Adult Care Food Program.

Interested in learning to play the guitar? Dust that guitar in the corner off and let's play some songs. You'll learn basic chords and strumming patterns, as well as a bit of music theory in the process.
