Ever wonder what's wrong with your vegetable plants and how do you deal with it?  Dr.Joe Masabni will present common vegetable garden problems of insects, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies. He will share his experience when testing common homemade remedies. If time allows, Dr. Masabni will teach you how to grow tomato as a single stem plant.  The presentation will be followed by an opportunity to ask Dr. Masabni questions.

Dr. Masabni’s area of expertise is vegetable production for small-acreage producers. Research interest is to develop production systems for high tunnel vegetables, aquaponics production, and pesticide and variety trials. Extension activities include developing online and printed materials for vegetable organic and conventional producers and homeowners, hosting workshops and conferences, and assisting county extension agents serving Texas clienteles.

Grow with Us is a series of online sessions from the Dallas Public Library - Seed Library and Dallas Environmental Quality and Sustainability hosting expert speakers to share practical, informative, and inspirational information about growing and urban agriculture in Dallas.
