Introduction to the Sewing Machine!

Learn the basics of the sewing machine like how to wind and insert bobbins, thread the machine, and sew basic stitches.

Trained AARP VOLUNTEER tax filers will be on-site to help maximize your returns and check your eligibility for Earned Income Tax Credits.

Remember to bring all of your important tax documents including any W-2s.

The Groove Guild is a new music club presented by Dallas Public Library, where we discuss and listen to music from our catalog. 

Can you dig it?! You won't have to! Learn how to grow potatoes in a laundry basket, hamper, box or bag. It's easy and we will show you how. Seed potatoes are here at your local North Texas Nursery.

We invite you to an afternoon of crafting, let's journal with "junk", a variety of materials, textures, and objects that hold significant meaning to you. Theme being: Love. What makes you feel love? How do you love? Not just romantic love either!

Hands-on computer training, basic digital skills, resume building, and job coaching. The program also teaches practicing online safety and protecting personal information.
