Become an Energy Explorer this spring break!

We'll be using a variety of activities and experiments to answer questions like, "What is energy?" and, "Where does energy come from?"

Spend the afternoon at the library tinkering with technology! Staff will guide participants through hands-on experiences that are both educational and fun for the whole family.

Let’s Get Ready to Rock…with a Homemade Guitar!

Unleash your child’s inner rock star with this fun, easy-to-make homemade guitar! 

Enjoy a free, nutritious snack provided by Education PV. Open to ages 0-18. Meals are made possible through the Texas Department of Agriculture’s Summer Food Service Program.

Free after-school meals for children up to 18 years old are available Monday-Friday from 3:30 – 4:00 pm. Meals must be consumed in the room in which they are served.

Explore the world around you through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. 

This month we will learn about camouflage. Why do some creatures hide in plain sight and how do they do it?

Flex your engineering skills and creative muscles with building bricks! Each month will have a different theme.

It’s game time at the library! Join us for Boardgames!, where kids can enjoy a variety of classic and new board games with friends. From strategy games to silly favorites, there’s something for everyone to play and enjoy.

Imagination Playground

Immerse your child in an imaginative play space that they and other children create using big blue foam blocks, imagination and cooperation. Are you intrigued? Great we hope to see you there!

Enjoy painting and watching your art glow with friends. All supplies are provided.

Build, stack, and brick by brick rise to the challenge! Kids will take on a fun LEGO challenge where imagination meets problem-solving and creativity clicks into place.

In this special hands-on art program, local artist Natalia Padilla from Dsgn For Us visits to teach kids the art of drawing!

Celebrate Spring Break in style with a free visit from the YMCA Game Truck!  The YMCA Game Truck is an Esports gaming center on the go.
