This class is in English and is for anyone who is new to using computers. No experience is needed!

In this class, you will learn:

Looking for assistance setting up your resume? Unfamiliar with using a computer and want help creating an email? Then schedule for a 1 Hour One-on-One Career Launch Pad training session with one of our staff members.

Are you interested in learning how to play mahjong? Are you already a master looking for some new competition? All skill levels are welcome at our new Mahjong Club!

Are you looking for a cozy and creative way to spend your time? Look no further! We invite seniors of all experience levels to join our warm and welcoming crochet group, meeting every week at the library.

Free after-school meals for children up to 18 years old are available Monday-Friday from 3:30 – 4:00 pm. Meals must be consumed in the room in which they are served.

Let curiosity take the lead and creativity follow! This afternoon activity blends creativity with learning, giving kids the chance to make fun, hands-on projects while exploring new concepts and ideas.

Refuel afterschool with a free, nutritious meal provided by Education PV. Open to ages 0-18. Meals are made possible through the Texas Department of Agriculture’s Child and Adult Care Food Program.

Free adult high school equivalency and career readiness preparation class with the Wilkinson Center. 

The Central Library hosts a creative writing club every other Saturday!

We hope to build a supportive group that provides accountability, helps you stay motivated, and shares in the joys and woes of creative writing.

Dive into the mysteries beneath the surface during this family-friendly “Secrets of the Pond” day!

Hands-on computer training, basic digital skills, resume building, and job coaching. The program also teaches practicing online safety and protecting personal information.

Vickery Park has partnered with Maria Pacheco of Seva Community Yoga to provide free yoga classes to all those who are interested. Seva started with a simple idea: to make yoga a tool for connection and transformation.
