The kids will learn about electric currents and magnetic fields. During this program, the kids will use a AA battery, a piece of copper wire and a stack of neodymium disc magnets to create a  simple motor.

The Garland Symphony Orchestra presents a wonderful opportunity for children to learn about music.  

Kids see how simple machines lighten their load! They launch with levers, secure with screws, and work with wedges. Then, they use pulleys to move heavy objects with ease.

Get ready to bring the stadium to the library! In this hands-on workshop, young inventors will transform everyday materials—like cardboard boxes, popsicle sticks, and straws—into their very own tabletop foosball game.

In this hands-on kids’ science program, participants will explore circuits while also giving an opportunity to express through an artistic aspect with their own custom owl art piece.

Learn about basic circuitry by creating your own paper circuit with a light up rocket ship card.
