The Cherokee War of 1776 collided with the beginning of the American Revolution.  Cherokee attacks aligned with the British-launched attacks on encroaching settlers in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.

Calling all kid builders!

Come to the Lochwood Branch Library and build with LEGO bricks. Challenge your brain with some exciting builds and have lots of fun! We supply the LEGO bricks, you supply the creativity and positive attitude!

It's the perfect blend of simple strategy and social interaction! Learn how to play Chinese Mahjong and develop the skills and know-how to master the game, every week! Don't know a thing about the game? No problem!

This is an 8-week program for children 0-3 years old and their parents. The weekly in-person sessions include activities that promote learning through play, information on strategies for positive parenting, and promoting children's development.

Each month we'll watch a fun movie followed by a lively session of trivia and behind-the-scenes facts! Screen the film, then test your knowledge and learn something new about what went into making it.
