One on one computer related basics for those who need individual help.

On Wednesday afternoons, the auditorium is available as an Adults Only quiet space. Bring your laptop or favorite book and enjoy the silence. 

Each month we'll watch a fun movie followed by a lively session of trivia and behind-the-scenes facts! Screen the film, then test your knowledge and learn something new about what went into making it.

Technology is a quickly changing landscape. Schedule a one-hour appointment for one-on-one assistance with basic technology problems and instruction.

Looking for assistance setting up your resume? Unfamiliar with using a computer and want help creating an email? Then schedule for a 1 Hour One-on-One Career Launch Pad training session with one of our staff members.

1 on 1 dedicated technology help with a staff member from the Dallas Public Library! 

Take a trip to the cinema with a monthly movie screening showing new films as well as familiar favorites. Watch a movie, bring a snack, and spend some time with new friends!

All films will be rated G or PG.

Enjoy a free, nutritious snack provided by Education PV. Open to ages 0-18. Meals are made possible through the Texas Department of Agriculture’s Summer Food Service Program.

Free after-school meals for children up to 18 years old are available Monday-Friday from 3:30 – 4:15 pm. Meals must be consumed in the room in which they are served.

Refuel afterschool with a free, nutritious meal provided by Education PV. Open to ages 1-18. Meals are made possible through the Texas Department of Agriculture’s Child and Adult Care Food Program.

Get ready for kindergarten with books, movement, rhymes and music!

Suggested ages:  3 - 6 years old

Visit us at Vickery Park for Steam Programming, a program designed for school-age children to explore and learn about science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

It’s game time at the library! Join us for Boardgames!, where kids can enjoy a variety of classic and new board games with friends. From strategy games to silly favorites, there’s something for everyone to play and enjoy.

Stop by the Vickery Park Branch Library every Wednesday @ 4 pm to learn the rules and strategies of chess!
