Lightning, thunder, floods, and tornadoes? Must be springtime in Texas! Special guest star Chelsea Burnett of Texas Storm Chasers drops in to talk about weather science (meteorology) and how to stay safe when Texas skies go wild.
Suggested materials:
- shoe box or plastic bowl or baking pan
- paint, a couple of colors of tempera or washable nontoxic paint
- marble or small ball like a golf ball or ping-pong ball or a hardboiled egg (any small-ish spherical object)
- paper, any type
- scissors
