Kids are invited to come to the library for a specialized reading time. They can get to know new friends, earn reading time and activity time for SMART summer reading, and even do a craft or two. Don't miss out on the summer fun!

Turn the pages of an old book into something new! Learn how to fold book pages into creative and eye-catching designs.

Learn fine motor skills, creativity and problem-solving through origami Bicycle Day cards, while also gaining insight into historical events and cultural awareness. 

Time to become secret agents in training! In Spy Science: Invisible Ink, kids will dive into the world of espionage and create hidden messages using their very own invisible ink.

In order to celebrate World Environment Day kids will be given a small planter to decorate and plant a seed.  Planters will be kept outside and watered by the kids each day.  At the end of the camp they will take their plant home.

Pleasant Grove library and the Girl scouts of America invite everyone to come and enjoy a summer of STEAM.

We have partnered with the Dallas Museum of Art to offer a button collage making class for the public.
