Reading to therapy dogs can help improve kids' confidence in their reading abilities. Since dogs are not judgmental, kids can read to them without feeling the pressure and anxiety that may come from reading to peers.

Reduce! Reuse! Recycle! Community members in the neighborhood have donated their used wine corks for our children to make a variety of different animals.

In this Frosty program, kids will combine science and creativity to explore the magic of making a fluffy, snow inspired concoction that they can play with and enjoy!

Join us each month as we read a book and do a craft based on the book we read. This is geared towards kindergarten through 2nd graders. 

December's Book: Olive, The Other Reindeer by J. Otto Seibold

Each class features beginner level instructions in guitar by an experienced instructor. Instruments provided. Great for ages 8 - 18. For the best learning experience, students should try to attend as many sessions as possible.

Participants will exercise skills such as listening, reasoning, communication, and physicality in order to heighten their imagination, ability to react and to relate to one and other.

In celebration of the winter holidays we will have a bilingual presentation by the Nasher Sculpture Center showcasing art of various winter holidays.
