Afternoon STEM! Rainbow in a Tube

Primary tabs

Program Description

Event Details

A "Rainbow in a Tube" STEM activity uses either density-based layering of colored liquids (sugar water) or color-mixing with water jelly crystals in a clear container to teach primary/secondary colors and density. This hands-on project enables young scientists to explore, observe color mixing, and create a visually appealing, permanent, or temporary rainbow spectrum.
