Let's celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month!
Come to the Fiber Arts Workroom every Tuesday evening from September 16th - October 7th to learn a new craft!
This craft is inspired by the traditional Mexican folk art; Amate paper is made from the pulp of the fig and mulberry trees. It is then brightly decorated with scenes or animals. We will be using construction paper, oil pastels, and acrylic markers during this craft to create a small replica of an amate painting.
Be aware acrylic markers, and oil pastels are not washable!
Supplies and aprons will be provided, and registration is required to ensure we will have enough supplies available for everyone.
