Art of Beatmaking 101

Participants will explore the fundamentals of beatmaking through a guided tutorial, discover free and library-accessible music production resources, and learn practical next steps for continuing their creative journey as music producers.

The program begins with a short, beginner-friendly producing tutorial that demonstrates how to build a basic beat and melody from scratch.

Following the tutorial, patrons will be introduced to free music production software (Ableton, etc,) recommended YouTube learning channels, and curated online and library resources that support continued learning outside the program.
